We would like to announce the new
addition of CourtAlert 58. This new alert will advise you that 8 months have
past after a Notice of Appeal has been filed. CourtAlert 58 will serve as a
safety net to remind you that one month can be left to perfect an appeal.
As of now this alert will only be
notifying you as to New York County Supreme Court cases that are e filed matters
(NYSCEF) and were listed on your Supreme Court watch list. For regular,
non-NYSCEF cases, the existing CourtAlert 88 serves as a similar reminder.
Whether a case is proceeding
electronically or conventionally please remember to always add the case to your
watch list. The e filing system for NY State only reports what was filed and
doesn't produce calendar information.
