New York State Abbreviation Codes

If there is one particular request that seems to be a regular from the CourtAlert community is the need to translate an abbreviation from an alert. A few members from the CourtAlert community recently pointed out that a glossary of abbreviations is available from NY State, which we have listed below. Please keep in mind that although an abbreviation listed below might match up perfectly with an abbreviation from an alert, but please still use caution. There is always the possibility the wrong abbreviation was used and if there is any confusion please contact the part clerk or the motion support office for that county.
