Personal — Daniel F. Luciano was raised in the City of New York. He was appointed to the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department in 1996 by Governor George E. Pataki.
Judicial Positions — Prior to his service on the Appellate Division, Daniel F. Luciano was appointed as an Associate Justice of the Appellate Term in 1993. Before that he was elected to the Supreme Court in 1982. In 1991 he was appointed to preside over Guardianship Proceedings in Suffolk County.
